Comfortably Uncomfortable is a project I worked on in my first year of university. I used textiles and more specifically crochet to create a colour coded safety map of Finsbury Park. I used different yarns to show how unsafe the area felt to me walking alone as a young queer woman.
Least uncomfortable areas - yellow, blue, purple, red - Most comfortable.
